Edward Kliszus, Ph.D.
Over his 45-year career in public school education Edward A. Kliszus, Ph.D. served as a Superintendent of Schools for 10 years in New York, and 8 years in New Jersey. Before that, he was a school principal, CEO of two not-for-profits, director of performing arts, technology, and gifted and talented, teacher of performing arts grades 3-12, and college and university adjunct for educational leadership and performing arts.
As an educational leader, Dr. Kliszus implements collaborative development and promulgation of a clear, practical vision that meets and exceeds community aspirations. The district vision engenders pride and purpose fueled by high expectations for every child in an environment where every course, sport, club, and program opens doors for young people to choose their paths to success. The result of this approach is annual growth in graduation rates, more students attending four-year colleges, and facility expansion and upgrades.
