Dublin is a suburban city in the East (San Francisco) Bay Area and Tri-Valley regions of Alameda County, California. The city, with a population of approximately 67,300, is located along the north side of the Interstate 580/680 intersection. The city has seen a 38.7% growth since 2010, making it the fastest growing city in California. Dublin’s student population has grown an astounding 92% in the same period. Through this period of growth, Dublin not only has maintained its academic excellence, but improved upon it, placing this district on par with other high performers in the Tri-Valley. The Dublin community consistently supports district growth through the ballot box, having passed many parcel taxes and bond measures. Most recently, Bond Measure J (2020), Parcel Tax Measure E (2019), and Bond Measure H (2016).
The Dublin Unified School District serves nearly 12,900 students, from preschool through adult education, in a diverse suburban environment. The district comprises seven elementary schools, two middle schools, one K-8 school, one alternative high school, and one comprehensive high school, with a second under construction and due to open in the Fall of 2022.

Dublin High School is renowned for its signature programs, including the Engineering Academy, which prepares students to succeed in a postsecondary engineering program; the Biomedical Academy, which prepares students for a post-secondary education in biomedical sciences; and the Culinary Academy which prepares students for a post-secondary education in the culinary arts. Through regional partnership with neighboring school district and its local community college, the Dublin Unified School District also offers Career Technical Education and Regional Occupational Programs to its students, expanding the pathways for future success.
