HYA is assisting the Georgetown Independent School District, in Georgetown, Texas, as it offers an excellent opportunity to lead a district alongside a Board that is committed to inspiring and empowering every learner to lead, grow, and serve.

Georgetown is a suburb of Austin, situated in Williamson County, and is one of the fastest-growing areas in central Texas.  The district covers 180.3 square miles and serves approximately 13,200 students at ten elementary schools, four middle schools, three high schools, and two alternative campuses.

The Georgetown ISD Board of Trustees seeks an individual who has demonstrated successful leadership necessary to advance the district to its next level of excellence, to engage the community in meaningful partnerships with the district, and to effectively address the current and future challenges facing the district with its historic growth.

It is expected that a regionally competitive compensation package will be offered.  Screening begins in May with the slate presented to the Board in June.  Ms. Lindsey Harris is serving as Interim Superintendent and will work through a transition for the new superintendent who is expected to begin in August of 2023.
