The Board of Education Commissioners of the Syracuse City School District seeks an exemplary educational leader to serve as Superintendent of Schools beginning on or before January 1, 2023. Minimally, applicants must have multi-year, successful executive level educational leadership experience in an organization of comparable complexity, size, and scope. Experience in communities with similar educational values, expectations and demographics is highly desirable. Candidates must possess or be immediately eligible for a New York State Education Department School District Leader (SDL) Certificate or hold the former School District Administrator (SDA) Certificate. Specific desired leadership characteristics and qualifications are expected to be available and posted on or around August 25, 2022.
