All three district high schools have been identified by Newsweek magazine as being among the best high schools in America and earned the “What Parents Want” in education designation from SchoolMatch. The district offers Advanced Placement courses; a high school International Baccalaureate program; elementary magnet schools; service learning opportunities; Career Pathways in business logistics, engineering, and health careers; active business partnerships; and specialized programs that meet the needs of nearly 2,000 special needs students, 3,300 gifted students and 1,600 English as a Second Language students.

The City of Westerville is located just miles from the state capital of Columbus. The community is diverse, thriving and is often highly ranked on the list of the best places to live in the United States. The city is also home to Otterbein University.
