Dr. Constance D. Evelyn has served as a Superintendent of Schools for over 10 years. She has been honored by the NYS Legislature for her ceaseless commitment to students across the state. Dr. Evelyn was awarded the National Harriet Tubman Medal of Freedom for her steadfast dedication to ensuring equitable access to inclusive, high-quality standards-based learning environments. Over the past three decades, Dr. Evelyn has transformed schools and districts through her ability to identify and execute systems that close opportunity gaps leading to increased success for students and educators. Her innovative problem-solving strategies have increased the capacity of multiple districts and communities to build sustainable cultures of excellence.
