Dr. Jharrett Bryantt has a proven track record of leading system-level change, most recently as the Houston ISD Assistant Superintendent in the Office of Strategy & Innovation. Dr. Bryantt has led a variety of high priority initiatives, resulting in: dramatically increasing the number of high-achieving, low-income HISD students enrolled at Ivy League and other selective universities; tripling the number of National Hispanic Recognition & National Merit Scholarship Recipients; raising over $20MM from the philanthropic community to expand access to college advising in Houston ISD. Dr. Bryantt received his Doctorate in Education Policy & Leadership through the selective University of Texas at Austin Cooperative Superintendency Program. He received a Bachelor of Science from Yale University. He began his career in education as a Teach For America Corps Member, where he taught high school mathematics in Houston, TX.
