Dr. Kristine McDuffy has been a public-school educator for 39 years. She served seventeen years as a school district superintendent (small, medium and large districts); nine years as a middle school and high school principal; as well as extensive teaching and coaching from P-12 through higher education. Dr. McDuffy has also committed over 25 years teaching, coaching and mentoring superintendent and principal candidates. She has taught multiple superintendent and principal certification courses for Western Washington University and Seattle Pacific University. She also served for five years as the Director of Educational Administration Programs for Western Washington University. Kris is currently serving as a mentor for the Washington State Aspiring Superintendents Academy as well as a leadership coach for central office leaders. Dr. McDuffy has been actively engaged with communities serving on numerous boards and service organizations. She has extensive experience and skill in strategic planning; board/superintendent relations; building high performing teams; and equity focused organizations.
