Marjorie Schiff is an experienced Board of Education President who has helped lead organizational change to meet the needs of students, staff, and community members in a public K-12 school setting and in both private and public university settings.
During her school board service, Marjorie led her school community through a superintendent search process and partnered effectively with the new superintendent to ensure successful entry into the school district. Over the course of her 7-year Board Presidency she fostered a respectful board culture, effective communication practices, and shared understanding of roles and responsibilities. She has been invited to serve on regional Westchester/Putnam County panels for newly elected board members and for newly elected board presidents/vice presidents and participates in regional advocacy on behalf of public school students and schools.
Prior to her board service and her work in education consulting, Marjorie worked at Duke University and the University of Virginia in Strategic Planning and as an Assistant Dean of Undergraduate Admission.
