Bob Mistele

Bob Mistele’s professional experiences over 39  years in education have provided him  with an extensive skill set and understanding of the needs of educational leadership. Bob Mistele successfully served seven years as the Superintendent of Los Gatos-Saratoga Union High School District, in Los Gatos, CA. Bob Mistele has had a successful career beginning with his early administrative posts in Lucia Mar USD where he served as an elementary, middle and high school principal. Additionally, Bob was charged with the opening of a new high school during his tenure.  Following that he moved to Los Gatos-Saratoga Union High School District as Human Resources Director and then Superintendent.  Bob is well known throughout the Bay area and beyond and is highly regarded as a compassionate, thoughtful, collaborative leader and skilled problem solver. During his tenure LGSUHSD became one of the top districts in the annual Niche ratings. Bob  has worked in a variety of school and district settings with a wide range of challenges and opportunities. Bob is currently a coach in the Tier 2 Administrative Credential Program. Bob Mistele is an educational professional with a firm belief that leadership matters for student, school, and district success.
