About Company
George has experience in education at the national, state, and local levels. He facitates teams in: building instructional leadership capacity at the district and school levels; assisting school districts in transforming central offices to support schools; strengthening instructional leadership capacity; redesigning districtwide systems of support for students with disabilities and family engagement; strengthening principal instructional leadership; accelerating middle and high school level academic achievement; and developing prototype curricula. George’s work focuses on guiding schools to raise and sustain student achievement by improving instruction and shared leadership, building on school strengths, and using data and research-based practices.
George assists school boards to develop and refine their consensus-driven vision and strategic plans. He works with board/superintendent teams, preparing and advising board members as they engage in superintendent search processes, and assisting superintendents in transition and strategic planning.
George partners with districts in many states. He has shared lessons-learned with partner districts in the bestselling Equity Warriors: Creating Schools That Students Deserve (Corwin, 2022). He advises school boards and district leaders for continuous improvement and making an impact.
