Stella M. Kemp, Ed. D

Dr. Kemp focuses on closing achievement and opportunity gaps through programs of excellence and systems transformation. She is a tireless advocate for schools and communities as the future pathway for our youth. She holds a doctorate in educational leadership in addition to an advanced degree in urban school leadership. She has over 35 years of service in public schools.  

Dr. Kemp has led: fiscal recovery; strategic planning development and implementation, including Portraits of the Graduate; long-range facilities master plan, and budget operations.   Stella has  implemented systems transformation in areas of assessment and accountability, special education and inclusion, teaching and learning, with a focus on ELD and low income student population in small rural, medium and large suburban districts. Her partnerships have garnered support and grants to support educational transformation programming efforts with local foundations and business leaders. 

Dr. Stella Kemp will provide executive search and strategic planning consulting centered on the district’s unique needs and goals. She will coordinate projects for executive coaching, board development, leadership development, use of student data for enhancing greater student success and operational functions such as personnel, facilities, including planning for local bond measure, and budget development and oversight.
