Dr. Phyllis Pajardo has over 40 years of service to education in suburban area schools. Pajardo’s bookend positions as elementary teacher and superintendent of schools involved roles including overseeing 28 schools and working in departments of instructional services, professional learning, and human resources. Phyllis’ work in succession planning programming, leadership selection and development, as well as K-12 principal and school supervision were impactful.
Throughout her career, Dr. Pajardo has championed self-reflection, capacity building, and collaboration. She initiated and implemented innovative programs that advance teacher leadership, promote opportunity and access, and close achievement gaps. Dr. Pajardo has been celebrated for including diverse voices into advisory capacities and decision-making platforms.

In her varied roles as an author, associate, faculty member, and consultant, Pajardo has supported leadership and professional development programming throughout the nation.
