Dr. Jeanette Rodriguez-Chien is an accomplished educational leader with more than three decades of experience spanning K–12 education, district and county office leadership, higher education, and executive coaching. She has served as a superintendent, deputy superintendent, chief academic officer, and university faculty member, providing leadership across instructional improvement, organizational effectiveness, and leadership development.
Dr. Rodriguez-Chien’s leadership is grounded in collaborative strategic planning, continuous improvement, data-informed decision-making, and building the capacity of leaders and teams. Her work emphasizes developing shared vision, strengthening adult learning, engaging diverse stakeholders, and creating systems that translate strategy into measurable improvement. As a district and county leader, she has supported districts in implementing critical initiatives through improvement and implementation science, systems thinking, and advancing instructional innovation, career education, multilingual learner support, and professional learning.Through her consulting and executive coaching work, Dr. Rodriguez-Chien focuses on helping educational organizations and leaders strengthen the systems and practices that improve outcomes for students and communities. Her areas of expertise include strategic planning, executive and leadership coaching, board and superintendent support, leadership development, instructional improvement, student data and academic growth, curriculum and assessment, equity and multilingual learner support, organizational effectiveness, and community partnerships.
Dr. Rodriguez-Chien will provide strategic planning, executive coaching and executive searches centered on the unique needs and context of a district. She will coordinate projects for board development, leadership development, and development of a Portrait of a Graduate/Learner, and implementation of MTSS to enhance organizational effectiveness and improve student success. She is a tireless advocate for empowering others to design access and opportunities for students to thrive in school and in their future endeavors.
