Dr. Jerome brings experience in school and district leadership from her 46 years as a school and district leader. Dr. Jeromes educational career focused on curriculum and instruction before going on to become superintendent of the School District of Kettle Moraine in Wales,Wisconsin from 1991-2006 and Arlington Heights School District 25 in Arlington Heights , Illinois from 2006-2014. Dr. Jerome served as President of the American Association of School Administrators and was one of four finalists for the National Superintendent of the Year after being named Wisconsin Superintendent of the Year. Dr. Jerome has lead initiatives for school improvement, leadership effectiveness, college and career readiness, referenda passage and building programs, community engagement, and collaborative labor relations. She has presented at local, state, and national conferences and has been published in several educational journals including AASAs The School Administrator where she was a monthly contributor to The Ethical Educator section of the magazine. Dr. Jerome has worked in urban, suburban, and rural schools with a wide range of economic conditions and challenges. Her enthusiasm to support student and school success brings creative solutions to district challenges.
