Dr. Nakia Hall holds an education doctorate in Ethical Leadership, a certification in Diversity and Inclusion from Cornell University, and is a well-respected speaker, consultant, facilitator, thought partner, and strategist. She has served as a teacher, professor and school board member, and is a former DEI and leadership executive.
Throughout her career, Dr. Hall has built a reputation for being an equity and leadership champion. She specializes in leadership and team development, board development, diversity equity and inclusion, and strategic planning. She has authored several articles related to leadership and DEI, led local, statewide and national equity teams, led multiple leadership and DEI events, and has participated in numerous community engagement initiatives. She has over 25 years of leadership experience including being a leadership coach and consultant, and president of her school board. Dr. Hall is known for helping to develop solution-driven strategies and assisting others with having critical conversations. She believes in helping individuals get to the core of issues while developing sustainable solutions. She has earned numerous awards for her contributions to critical issues in education.
Dr. Hall recently joined HYA and is excited about bringing her expertise and passion for leadership development, DEI development and strategic planning to institutions.
