Throughout his career as an educational leader Marty has been an advocate for innovative leadership and instructional practices aimed at improving outcomes for all students. Marty is an advocate for school boards and school leaders that want to lean into this work in new ways and empower students to achieve success in academics, critical thinking, positive relationships, and problem solving.
Dr. Lexmond consults with school boards and superintendents on the topic of board governance and developing the critical board/superintendent relationship. He also counsels and coaches in school districts as they implement a project based learning approach to increase student engagement and opportunities available to students beyond high school.
