Avis B. Williams, Ed.D.

Dr. Avis Williams holds a doctorate in educational leadership and has over 20 years of school leadership experience. Dr. Williams served in all levels of school leadership. She provided leadership to national organizations; served as a coach/mentor and teaches at the university level. 

Dr Williams has experienced advanced learning and provided leadership to urban school organizations and leaders. She has written and spoken on topics that serve urban and large city schools and organizations. Dr. Williams has been an advocate for equity and innovation in education. 

Her recent consulting projects include executive coaching, supporting school districts in several states, and numerous keynote addresses. Her consulting  includes strategic planning, culture development, leading with joy, stakeholder engagement and board governance.
