About Company
Dr. Kristine McDuffy holds a doctorate in Educational Leadership from Seattle University. She has over 30 years of school and school district leadership experience. She has served as an adjunct professor for several higher education institutions preparing principal and superintendent candidates and also served as Director of Educational Administration Programs for Western Washington University. She has 17 years of experience serving as a school district superintendent in small, medium and large school districts.
Throughout her career, Dr. McDuffy has demonstrated her passionate commitment to equity, social justice and meeting the needs of each and every student. She has been a speaker on these topics at several state and national conferences. Her awards and honors include Women in Leadership Award; Superintendent of the Year Award; Student Achievement Leadership Award; and Exemplary Service Award. She currently serves as a mentor and coach to several current or aspiring superintendents.
As an HYA Associate, Dr. McDuffy is committed to assisting school districts to be the best they can be. Her areas of expertise include: executive searches; strategic planning; equity focused systems; board/superintendent relations and team building; leadership team development; human resources and community engagement. She recently completed successful superintendent searches in several Washington and Oregon school districts.
