Dr. Lori Ellis holds a Doctorate in Educational Leadership from Nova Southeastern University with a career spanning over three decades, Dr. Ellis has held leadership roles at the district, state, and national levels, including as a principal, district leader, and executive coach. She is currently a Chief Associate with Hazard, Young, Attea & Associates, where she leads executive coaching initiatives for educational leaders across the nation.
Dr. Ellis specializes in executive leadership coaching and team development. She is an ICF Professional Certified Coach, a Professional Diversity Certified Coach, and a Gallup-Certified Strengths Coach and facilitator. She is a TTI Success Insights certified DISC, EQ, and 12 Driving Forces assessor and facilitator. Her expertise extends to facilitating leadership professional learning, implementing principal induction programs, and aligning executive coaching practices with organizational goals and KPIs. Dr. Ellis has contributed to numerous initiatives, including the Wallace Foundation’s ECPI and the National Institute for School Leadership, consistently achieving measurable improvements in leadership effectiveness and organizational outcomes.
Throughout her career, Dr. Ellis has worked with notable clients, in Arkansas, Florida, Maryland, Mississippi, Maryland, Pennsylvania, and State Departments of Education. Her efforts have enhanced team performance, leadership evaluation scores, and the promotion of leadership competencies. Additionally, she has coached over 100 leaders across sectors and facilitated professional growth for C-suite executives and school administrators nationwide.
