Dr. Lynn Gibson is the retired superintendent of the Hononegah Community High School District 207 located in Northern Illinois. She was in the district for 13 years, as a grant writer, assistant superintendent, and superintendent. Lynn has been involved in educational leadership/superintendent searches as an internal facilitator as well as a participant in the search process. She has worked in school districts for her entire Pre-K through 12 career in roles from teacher to superintendent. Lynn is an assistant professor at Northern Illinois University and is a graduate of the IASA School for Advanced Leadership. She is trained in Myers-Briggs Type Indicator, strategic planning, coaching, and grant writing. She has written federal, state, corporate, and foundation grants for over 20 years and teaches grant writing nationally. Lynn has published various articles in regional and national magazines and is currently writing a young adult novel with two of her six children. She and her family live in Rockford, IL.
