Richard C. McGregory Jr., Ph.D.

Dr. Richard McGregory has had a distinguished career as a scholar, administrative practitioner, and champion for access and excellence in education, economic/workforce development, and organizational leadership. Specifically, he offers: research and practical experience in addressing education policy, organizational disparities, and broadening participation in the scientific workforce; experience disseminating research findings with practitioners, policymakers, and community leaders; and experience in organizing research which collects as well as analyzes data using multiple modalities. Throughout his career, Dr. McGregory has worked to expand access to experiences which allow students from historically excluded groups to engage in high demand research, academic, and career development.

Dr. McGregory’s teachings, service, and research addresses critical local, state, and national workforce development needs. He has collaborated with colleagues to develop new courses and secure external funding to conduct research which impacted the economic and community development of diverse communities.

Dr. McGregory’s research interests include: educational and healthcare labor markets; educational policy; organizational leadership; and underserved communities’ access to capital.
