Talisa L. Dixon, Ed.D.

Dr. Talisa Dixon, a distinguished educator and advocate for equitable educational opportunities, recently retired as the Superintendent and CEO of Columbus City Schools, Ohio’s largest district. She established strategic initiatives to improve student learning experiences such as: the Departments of Engagement, Equity, and Transformation; the five-year plan; Power of One, which aimed to empower every student; and the Portrait of a Graduate.

Dr. Dixon is also known for her partnerships, including the program to cultivate future educators and talent. An active community leader, she has served on boards for various organizations and as Superintendent in Residence at The Ohio State University.  

Dr. Dixon’s consulting is focused on changing organizational culture and relationships to leverage opportunities for student learning and community engagement. She is available to mentor future leaders and current superintendents. She will support districts developing strategic plans and other future oriented planning initiatives.
