Ty Weeks, Ph.D.
About Company
Dr. Weeks holds a Ph.D. in Educational Studies with a concentration in Urban Education from Eastern Michigan University. Dr. Weeks currently serves as an Adjunct Professor at Eastern Michigan University in the Department of Leadership and Counseling, is a member of AASA, NABSE, and is excited to join the team of Associates with HYA. Prior to his role in higher education, he served as Superintendent of Schools in a suburban district near metropolitan Detroit.
Throughout his career, Dr. Weeks has developed educational leaders through executive mentoring and enhanced school communities through effective strategic planning. In 2021, he was presented with an honorary doctorate in commerce (Com. D.) for his contributions in public service.
As a consultant, Dr. Weeks has worked with numerous school communities in the areas of curriculum and instruction and developing healthy schools to enhance the learning experiences for students.
