Blue Valley School District, widely regarded as one of the premier public school districts in Kansas and the nation, is seeking its next Superintendent of Schools to begin on July 1, 2025. Serving over 22,000 students from early childhood through 12th grade, Blue Valley encompasses 22 elementary schools, nine middle schools, and five high schools across 91 square miles in southeastern Johnson County, including parts of Overland Park, Leawood, and Olathe.

Compensation and Benefits

Position Qualifications
A Terminal Degree;
Kansas Professional Education License with Administrator and Superintendent Endorsement;
Long-term demonstrated success as Superintendent leading comparative high-performing district(s); and
Relocation to the local area is highly suggested
