The East Brunswick Board of Education is seeking a successor superintendent for the East Brunswick Public Schools beginning on or around December 1, 2025, with a salary in the range of $285,000 per annum subject to actual qualifications, experience, and negotiations.
East Brunswick, located in the heart of the Raritan Valley, is in Middlesex County, New Jersey approximately 29 miles from New York City. East Brunswick is a growing bedroom community of 22 square miles with over 49,000 residents (2020 census). Equally commutable to Philadelphia, East Brunswick is a highly desirable location and enjoys the benefits of access to cosmopolitan areas as well as the New Jersey Shore.
East Brunswick Public Schools is a nationally recognized school district with each of its 11 schools having attained distinguished Blue Ribbon status. With a diverse student enrollment of approximately 8,200, EBPS is proud of its ability to deliver high academic achievement results while also offering robust course, program, and extracurricular offerings that speak to individual student’s passions, priorities, and pursuits. In addition to Blue Ribbon recognition, EBPS boasts a graduation rate of over 97%. Forty-two percent of 11th and 12th graders take Advanced Placement or International Baccalaureate courses and over 72% are in dual enrollment courses. Over 14% of 12th graders have received the NJ seal of biliteracy compared to the state rate of 9.6%.
Candidates must possess a New Jersey School Administrator Certificate or be immediately eligible to obtain the same. A multi-year contract will be offered.
