Job Description

The Dodgeland School District is seeking a superintendent beginning on July 1, 2025, (or when available) with a tentative base salary range expected to be $140,000 to $165,000 (based on experience); other benefits to be negotiated.

Dodgeland School District is in the heart of Dodge County, Wisconsin, and located less than one hour northeast of Madison and just over an hour northwest of Milwaukee. The District serves families from the City of Juneau, Towns of Beaver Dam, Clyman, Elba, Hubbard, Hustisford, Lowell, Oak Grove, and Shields, and Villages of Clyman, Lowell and Reeseville.

The Dodgeland Elementary School, Middle School, and High School are located in one pre-Kindergarten through 12th grade building. The building was constructed in 2000 and numerous referendum-approved renovation projects, including the addition of a new Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics (STEAM) addition were completed in August 2022. Additionally, the Middle School and High School have new collaboration spaces and the Elementary School students enjoy a new 4K/5K dedicated playground and a complete refresh of the existing playground.

The Dodgeland School District offers diverse academic courses, contemporary technology, and many co-curricular offerings designed to provide a well-rounded education to every student. The District has an annual operating budget of $11,218,347 million. The District encompasses 83.2 square miles with a PK-12 enrollment of 690 students, and 116 employees.

The mission of the Dodgeland School District is to prepare and empower learners to successfully contribute to an evolving world community. To that end, the Board of Education has adopted the following goals:

  • The Board of Education expects all students to perform at Proficient or Advanced levels on district summative assessments.
  • In order to promote a positive school image, the Board of Education will explore and implement a continuous public relations campaign.
  • The Board of Education will be fiscally responsible to the District’s taxpayers and to our students’ educational needs.
