Job Description
The Necedah Area School District is seeking a Superintendent beginning on July 1, 2026, with a base salary range expected to be $140,000 to $155,000; other benefits to be negotiated.Â
Necedah is a rural village in Juneau County, located in central Wisconsin about 30 minutes east of Wisconsin Dells. The community is surrounded by exceptional natural resources, including the 44,000-acre Necedah National Wildlife Refuge and Petenwell Lake, Wisconsin’s second-largest lake, offering abundant opportunities for hiking, boating, fishing, and camping. Necedah is known for its close‑knit, supportive atmosphere, where neighbors know one another, and community events bring people together. Â
Necedah Area School District is a rural PK-12 school district, nestled within some of the most extraordinary recreational opportunities Wisconsin has to offer. The District proudly serves 700 students in one collaborative PK-12th-grade student-centered building. Their mission prioritizes student empowerment by ensuring authentic engagement and utilizing transformative learning solutions.Â
The Necedah Area School District serves the Village of Necedah and several surrounding towns, including Armenia, Clearfield, Cutler, Finley, Germantown, and the Town of Necedah. The District has 130 employees and a budget of approximately $11 million.Â
