Dr. Judy Wiegand, with a doctorate in education from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, has over 20 years of district-level administrative experience. Her recent roles include serving as the Executive Director of Schools and Interim Deputy Superintendent for the Green Bay Area Public Schools. Prior to this, she held the position of Superintendent for the Champaign Unit #4 Schools in Champaign, Illinois.
Dr. Wiegand has showcased exceptional leadership and management skills in overseeing school districts, departments, and teams, consistently nurturing a positive and collaborative atmosphere. Her extensive experience encompasses goal-setting, coaching, and the cultivation of building and district-level leadership. As an adept systems thinker, she possesses a remarkable talent for pinpointing strategic leverage points to adeptly address intricate challenges.
In her role as an Associate at HYA, Dr. Wiegand is dedicated to enhancing the capabilities of both building and district leaders in order to better serve their communities. Her areas of focus include coaching, continuous school improvement, mentoring, program evaluation and strategic planning.
