The School District of Menomonee Falls (SDMF) Board of Education selected Mr. David Muñoz as the next Superintendent of Schools, where he will lead nearly 4,000 students.
Mr. Muñoz served in the Mosinee School District as Superintendent since 2019. Prior to leading Mosinee, Mr. David Muñoz served the Menomonee School District as a high school principal. The new leader of Menomonee Falls also has experience as an assistant principal and started his education career as a teacher and coach.

Mr. Muñoz looks forward to opportunities to meet members of the school community and build relationships with district stakeholders. “ I will work every day tirelessly to earn and maintain your trust while staying focused on learning for all students.” The new Superintendent went on to quote the honorable Dr. Martin Luther King, “Life’s most persistent and urgent question is: What are you doing for others?” Mr. Muñoz spoke of the power of the collective group of students, staff, and the community in education.
The Menomonee Falls Board of Education hired Hazard, Young, Attea and Associates to facilitate the executive search for a new superintendent . HYA Vice President Dr. Mike Richie and Sr. Associate, Dr. Pat Neudecker led the collaborative effort that resulted in the selection of Mr. David Muñoz by the Board of Education. “We were very happy with the quality of our slate of candidates for this search; this can be problematic with a late summer search. Mr. Munoz matches the characteristics and profile that the HYA associates developed throughout this search process,” stated Dr. Mike Richie.
