HYA Academy
HYA offers a variety of leadership and professional development academies through its academic partners geared toward growing high impact leaders.
HYA partners with prestigious universities to provide leadership academies designed to bolster K-12 Educational Leadership.
The academies are designed to prepare educational leaders to excel in their administrative positions within U.S. public schools. Our partnerships with nationally recognized universities mark a significant step forward in HYA’s commitment to nurturing exemplary leadership in education.
Each academy is a certificated program through the partner university. Individuals will receive a certificate, and in some cases graduate credit, from the university upon completion. All academies include an HYA executive coach for each participant. The participant’s coach is part of the structure and goals of the program to enhance skills, set goals, and build professional relationships.

Founded in 1867, Howard University School of Education is a distinguished academic unit within Howard University, located in Washington, D.C. As part of one of the nation’s premier historically Black universities, Howard has a rich tradition of preparing education professionals, including teachers, administrators, counselors, and researchers, who are committed to excellence in education and the promotion of social justice.

Southern University and A&M College is the flagship institution of the Southern University System, which is the largest historically Black college and university (HBCU) system in the US. The School of Education is located on the main campus in Baton Rouge, LA, and plays a vital role in preparing professional educators and leaders who are equipped to meet the needs of diverse student populations, especially in underserved communities.
