Successor Superintendent: Voorhees Township, NJ
The Voorhees Township Public Schools seeks an outstanding educational leader to serve as successor Superintendent of Schools beginning July 1, 2027, with a base salary range expected to be $237,650-$252,350; other benefits to be negotiated.
About Voorhees
Located in Camden County, NJ, the Township of Voorhees is 11.6 square miles and has a population of approximately 32,000. The Township was named in honor of Governor Foster McGowan Voorhees in 1899. Voorhees Township is a New Jersey suburb in the Greater Philadelphia Metropolitan Area. Â
The Voorhees Township Public Schools serve approximately 3,100 students in grades pre-K-8 in 5 schools and 1 early childhood center. The mission of the Voorhees Public School Community is to value the varied and unique contributions, needs, and experiences of its members. While promoting an environment of respect among all people, it provides instructional delivery systems that nurture the potential of students, giving them the ability to become successful adults. The Board of Education strongly upholds the expectation that all students will achieve the New Jersey Student Learning Standards at all grade levels.

Specific desired leadership characteristics and qualifications are expected to be available and posted mid-October 2026. Candidates must possess a New Jersey School Administrator Certificate or be immediately eligible to obtain the same.
