Preschool Teacher (P-3 Certification) – 2026–2027 School Year
Kiddee Korner Day Center | Jersey City, New Jersey

Kiddee Korner Day Center is seeking qualified, enthusiastic full-time Preschool Teachers for its preschool classrooms at two Jersey City locations for the 2026–2027 school year.

Kiddee Korner’s Pre-K teachers provide high-quality early childhood instruction in developmentally appropriate, safe, and engaging learning environments.

Teachers support children’s social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development while building strong partnerships with families.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and implement age-appropriate learning experiences that support the cognitive, emotional, social, and physical development of young children, including children with special needs.
• Develop weekly lesson plans and complete required reports, observations, screenings, and assessments.
• Maintain a classroom environment aligned with New Jersey teaching standards, licensing requirements, and Kiddee Korner policies.
• Create meaningful opportunities for parent and family engagement.

Qualifications

• New Jersey Preschool through Grade 3 (P-3) certification is required. Eligible credentials include Standard Certificate, Certificate of Eligibility (CE), Certificate of Eligibility with Advanced Standing (CEAS), or
• Limited Certificate of Eligibility.
• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education (Pre-K) or a related field.

Starting Salary
Bachelor’s Degree: $65,000–$68,000
Master’s Degree: $70,000–$72,000
Doctorate: $74,000

All relevant teaching experience will be considered during salary negotiations.
