SCHOOL PRINCIPAL
River Forest, Illinois
www.GraceSchoolRF.org

Grace Lutheran School first opened its doors in 1896 to prepare students to be witnesses to the good news of Jesus Christ in their everyday lives and vocations. The School’s vision today remains the same: to equip every student for a life of faithful service through strong academics and a focus on character development. The tuition-based, Church supported Prekindergarten through Eighth Grade School, nestled in the beautiful community of River Forest, with over 30 Faculty Staff Members, proudly serves 200 students from River Forest, Oak Park, Melrose Park, Maywood, Forest Park, Elmwood Park, Chicago and many other surrounding communities

Grace Lutheran School provides challenging academics in an environment responsive to the unique needs of their students. Through individualized attention and support, students consistently test well above national averages and are admitted into prestigious, college-preparatory high schools throughout the area.

Students are taught to care for one another and for the world at large. Faculty and Staff support and encourage students to be servant leaders, always striving to be an example for others. Whether in the classroom or on the playground, students are guided to learn to serve, stand up for each other and take responsibility for their actions.

The School Community centers their lives around God’s grace and love. God is worshiped in daily devotions, prayer and weekly chapel services. Students learn the story of Jesus’ love for all in religion classes. Faith is put into action with service projects and in the way we live with one another every day.
