School District of Reedsburg, WI

The School District of Reedsburg is seeking a superintendent beginning on July 1, 2025, with a base salary range expected to be $180,000 to $201,000 (based on experience); other benefits to be negotiated.

The School District of Reedsburg encompasses 264 square miles serving the communities of Reedsburg, Ironton, LaValle, Loganville, and Rock Springs. Located in the beautiful rolling hills of Sauk County, WI; approximately 60 miles northwest of Madison. The School District of Reedsburg is a 4K-12 School District that is made up of five schools: including two elementary schools, one intermediate school, one middle school, and one high school; with an enrollment of more than 2,600 students. The District has approximately 400 employees with an annual budget of just over 50M.

The City of Reedsburg (pop. 10,246) offers a quality of life that is second to none. Filled with an array of activities and events for individuals and families, the city is surrounded by breathtaking farmland and great recreational opportunities, and is known for its wonderful small-town charm. Lake Virginia is a small lake on the east side of Reedsburg. Lake Redstone and Dutch Hollow Lake are two reservoirs located in the nearby town of La Valle. Babb Creek, Hay Creek, and Copper Creek, tributaries of the Baraboo River, all flow through Reedsburg.

This area is a favorite walking route among residents and is also adjacent to our popular “400” State Trail, noted for being the prettiest bike trail in Wisconsin.
