District residents value their educational system and have high expectations for student success. The district consists of four school buildings – Malverne High School (Grades 9-12), Howard T. Herber Middle School (Grades 6-8), Davison Avenue Intermediate School (Grades 3-5) and Maurice W. Downing Primary School (Grades K-2). During its Homecoming festivities this year, the Malverne community will be celebrating the completion of a bond project with a ribbon cutting on its new performing arts center, music wing and STEM labs at Malverne High School.
